What Have You Done To Your Merc Today?

I did something today that I don't do very often.
I got the vac out in the yard and gave the E280 Estate a serious clean out inside.
It's been getting a bit like a parrot's cage.
Time well spent !
I'm not sure it goes any better.
At least it looks better.

I haven't got experience in this kind of stuff...as we all here to help each other, please in your spare time, could you show me how it's done properly...ON MY CAR 😂 😆

Neat job 👏
Those kick plates look pretty robust. First World problem I know but the ones on my 204 were very disappointing, obviously having been manufactured out of a sheet of Bacofoil.
The sills on my car are not robust at all. They scratch very easily and can't be polished as they are not "real" metal, hence my recovering them with this:

CHROME SILVER CARBON FIBRE VINYL WRAP

Yours seem to have a plastic surround; the 204 ones didn't. Not only did they scratch horribly, you could put dents in them without even trying.

Bit of soapy story.... while in progress of splitting up with my kids mum. Been told, how sh.t I am, and not deserve to be a dad.
Ones again took my little prides for a ride/walk, while she wasn't bothered to ask about kids since Friday.
Loved each second of it.... specially seeing their smile 😁
And we had a little break, middle of nowhere....

All day in the comfort of safety, delivered by our beast :D

Full service except for brake fluid. I don't know if it is the placebo effect but the new air filter seems to have left the gear changes better (doesn't seem to be holding on to the gears as long in the rev range).

Maybe, but maybe not....... change the brake fluid and see if it brakes better...... Happy Sunday 😄

Washed Mel and she's now taking pride of place on the drive while the old girl is away.
OMFG........for some odd reason, for years I was thinking that MEL is a boy....... Now I've remembered story about it. And that Mel is a daughter of the founder (if that's right word).

I better go, and apologies my MEL.

HAHAH

Where I come from, MEL is Magnesium Elektron Ltd, manufacturers of magnesium alloy products.
I used to do some ultrasonic inspection work at their factory in North West Manchester.
