Wheels on w208 seem to be too wide and touch shock?

Hi All, Basically every set of aftermarket wheels I have trial fitted on my clk convertible seem to not go flush with the hub because of the shock top mount on the front, They seem too wide, Is this a common issue or is my shock top mount thing not installed correctly?

Sounds like the off-set (ET)of the wheel is wrong.

Check the correct spec on this fitting chart.

Im sure thats the case, I am due to buy some wheels that have been on a clk w208 like mine but it's a coupe, I wont be able to try them first so the question is will they still fit the same as the coupe? Thanks!

As long as its a 208 wouldnt have thought it would matter if its a coupe or convert.. As long as the offset is right..

Well they are currently on this guys coupe so Im guessing it must be right but its a lot of money to spend if they dont fit!, The problem only seems to be on the front where the wheel wont bolt down at the top because of what looks like a top mount for the shock

To confirm, if they fit the coupe 208, they will fit a 208 convertible.
