Wide Body SL600

So the runway day in Wales VMAX is not happening which is a shame.

Eurocharged UK have found a leak from the turbo seals which explains the heavy fuel smell when I put my foot down, as well as the boost issues. They have also sorted the intercooler issues so the car is running much cooler now.

Does anybody know if the 65 Turbos will be a direct swap for the 600 Turbos?

Mine are due back in a couple of weeks and would like to preempt any issues I am going to have.

so the tardis isn't happening john?

No, they are still trying to get the day on the sands but that may not happen either.

So I have found out that the housing and manifolds are identical between the SL65 and the 600 so that is good news.

The compressor wheel is larger and now the turbine wheel will be upgraded to match and I am hoping this will equal success on the power curve.

I am waiting for the ceramic coating to be done now so I can get them installed.

Eurocharged are going to have a custom radiator made up with space notched out for a larger CAI pipe and filter. Hoping to have it all wrapped up with the second set of turbos installed in around 3 weeks.

I am looking at getting some Vossen Forged series wheels to eliminate the spacers but retain the light weight I had with the Carlsson Ulra Lights.

It will also allow me to fit a wider tyre on the front. I want to fit a 305mm tyre on the front to eliminate some of the understeer.

If anybody is interested in the Carlsson Ultra Lights with PSS tyres send me a PM

The 305 tyre may not make much difference to the understeer but it will make it handle oddly.

Why don't you get rose jointed suspension arms so you can adjust the geometry properly? Standard MB arms only move 10' with adjustment bolts.

I have K-Mac bushings which allow a lot of movement and I will increase the camber a little. why do you think the extra rubber will not increase grip In the corners?

Having driven the Aventador a bit today, the 458 is a much better car and you don't have to be a scaffolder to be able to put the roof up.

I have had the Kmac on my car. I took them off as the bushes twisted in the arm.

Just saw your car F1 BHP, love the look!

Thx, it is still in bits isn't it? Should be done in around 10days. Just working on wheels and the interior after that.

In and out the country a lot at the moment so I am not sure which dates I will make it to. I look forward to taking it for a run and hoping my dyno numbers represent the efforts made by Eurocharged and I.

Sounds good to me.:D
