1999 w202 c230k sport - urgent help req identifying part number

There's the possibilty that desilva's clips aren't original - the design also changed part way through according to the EPC - 248 replaces 245 for example.

Thanks gents for all the help so far, but these diagrams show very little, and this fastener that I need is the one that is at the very front of the skirt....its the very last fastener and is different to the rest of the rectangular ones as this one is round.

Yes, the skirt is hanging down a bit at the front due to the missing item. The pic shows the good side which already has the correct fastener. I dare not remove it in case I have both sides down.

I have just had a call from the Croydon dealer, apologizing about the way I have been treated this morning and that the Service manager will deal with my issue if I bring the car back, so I will give them another shot.

I must admit Ive never seen that type of fastner used on the outside of a vehicle. They tend to hold interior trim parts inplace.

OK - was asked to bring the car back today, and the service manager dealt with me, put the car up on the ramps, found the correct part, fixed the problem and gave it back to me, apologising about the way that I was treated and said that there is an internal investigation into the treatment I recieved.

Fixed at last - sorry, I still don't know the part number, but as long as its fixed.

Thos epanel, liner clips are common to most modern cars. Used to hold on inner guards, liners etc etc.
A body shop supplier will have packets of them. ive seen them on racks in all different sizes in auto spares places.
