I have a 1992 SL like Mark's 300, same colour. I am planning to paint the car all one colour but am wandering if the end result is what i want. It may look modern but the only prob is the facelift models have different bumpers with the lines in them so mask the bulk of the silver colour. The older bumper like the one i have will cause the car to look all silver with no breaks in it.
My choices are leaving the car as it is, colour coding it, or paint the botoom half one shade darker than the paintwork to make it a subtle transition. Opinions needed!
