300sl W107 Fuel Pump Problem Help????????

HI I have a 1989 300sl with a noisy fuel pump can hear it constantly from inside the car any ideas does it need replacing or is there a fix apart from turning up the radio

Check the mounting bracket it tight and any rubber mountings are in place.
