Will the final speeds for all cars get posted would be good to see how some of the Mercs faired against the Mclaren's, Ferrari et al
 
Yes, the aerial one is really good. I wasn't sure how good-er a picture they would be able to get but the results are top notch. I forgot they were in the sky!

Out of interest - what exhaust is that white R8 V10 to make it sound like an F1 car?

(That is one of the many things that will stick in my head from the day - along with the expiring Monaro in a cloud of blue smoke).

I'm running a Capristo, wi-fi controlled valved system... IMHO how the V10's should sound when they leave the factory! (if only the Lambo arm of VAG would let them :rolleyes:)

Good to catch up with some familiar faces from the GW trackdays and see/hear some awesome MB cars given the full beans.

Thanks to organisers , gr8 day out .... car already in pieces trying to find some gremlins, but hell Ill settle for the one run of 185 , could not break 180 afterwards though :(

Paul has one fast car there crickey! And it seems there's more to be had out of her too...
 
Gents, I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I'll update the speeds as an when I can this week.

What we normally do is.. If Ricky posts up the list of cars.. If you or passenger saw any speeds, add them in next to your car & I'll update them as I go through.

Mr Williams will be along with some photos at some stage too. I hope to meet you all again in the future and with your permission i'll hang around on here as it seems a nice place with a top bunch of guys!

I know someone who bought a new R8 V10, in the same colouring as yours, who is interested in an exhaust like this.

Once I posted the clip of it - he was very interested in finding out more!

He guessed at it being an 'Akrapovic'.

Believe me, having followed Mr NudeNut through some of the tunnels on the M25 when he was gunning it. That exhaust is the danglies, especially with its remote control!!
