I have an A/C condenser (the 'radiator' at the front for the A/C system) spare to fit some W202s, R170s and W208 models - there is more than one type fitted to different variants of these models (engine type/size, model year etc) so rather than try and list them all, if you need one, PM me and I can check on a fitment list (that I now have
)
This is a common failure item for these models as they tend to collect leaves/flies etc behind the cooling fans and then rot through as the moisture becomes trapped.
If your system is loosing refrigerant, it is worth looking for leaks in this area.
I bought this on the off-chance from eBay. I knew that there were a couple of different types, and took a chance as I didn't have time to check my car before bidding. Turns out on this occasion the one I needed was different (due to the loacation of the two pipes on my C230K) Mercedes wanted about £270 for this item. The one I have is a 'compatible part', ie, not an MB original, but of perfectly good quality.
It cost me £61 including delivery - if anyone needs one of these, make me an offer
I can even help with fitting instructions if required (save yourself some cash )
