Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

I may have mentioned TO5ER in an earlier post. On reflection I think it was in fact TOS 3R - that's legal isn't it?

Saw a good one yesterday:

HOW 2 BOX (HOW 280X) on a W211 E320 CDI in Camberley last night.

How about this one...

THUGS

THU 6S on a Blacked out Black pick-up truck (can't remember the make & model) looked pretty mean!

Saw ' V4 NDL ' to spell ' VANDL ' on a blacked out black pick up truck the other day ....

I guess 'those' sort of cars attract 'those' sort of people .....

Saw F430 RED yesterday on a red f430 (at least I think it was don't see many to know for sure) on the A34 southbound.
And it was red.
When I did a check for an insurance quote it came up as a FERRARI 456 GT.
I am sure it wasn't one of those though.
Couldn't take a pic as I was driving at the time.
Mac.

Edit*: Just had a look at some F430 pics and it definately was an F430.

Somebody might care to look up what vehicle carries the index number:

H1 (could be HI?)

If it was a pukka plate then I do wonder about the sense of value some people have.

How could they ahve got the plate F430 RED? It was possibly originally registered in the ED area during the F-reg. Also, not only are F-regs not out yet from the DVLA but 430 isn't a special number. Interesting.

You can transfer any number around that has already been issued ...

The DVLA will just hold back the special ones ..

In all likelyhood, F430 RED was issued as a normal plate in '88 or whenever and a Ferrari owner has just seen it on a car and offered the driver a wedge of cash...

A snooker ace (Steve Davis maybe) had A147 POT long before the DVLA were issueing A reg specials...

Also, F16 JET , sold long ago for a substantial wedge ....
