Went to see my cousin the other day in Canada, and he had DYNAMODA for a plate. Turns out his mother wanted to get DYNAMODAVE and it didn't fit.

Their other car (camaro - eeek!) has SNOW OWL for a plate.

I have just been impressed in how quickly the DVLA have started to update the site. My son transferred his registration number a couple of days ago and it has already been altered on the site! Brilliant

Now the weird bit.

A neighbour of ours has the plate

I have yet to successfully see it on any of the public reference sites. I'm only sure of the colour and that's blue. It has been on this vehicle for at least four years (unless she has changed it for a similar coloured vehicle?) So I am baffled as to why I cannot locate it!

I suspect H 23 would be from the very early dates of plates - maybe the 1910 or 20s.

Had trip yesterday in the rain (...) to M-B Lincoln and saw the following (in addition to a GL420 CDI and a 300C estate with 22" rims !):

* N1 BBC - CLK55 @ DC dealer
* JS 999 - CLK55 @ DC dealer
* DAF 11A - Land Rover @ L-R dealer
* M1 1 EEP - Cherokee @ DC dealer
* X5 5WAT - you-know-what @ Lincoln train station
* L44 4SHY - BMW down a dumbo street in Grimsby (dodgy use of bolt!)
