Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

A friend has S1 MON.

He bought it years ago. It sits nicelky on his high spec VW T5 lol

Wonder what it is worth!!!??

Considering it went for £59k (ex fees + VAT) in 1999 I'd suspect it's worth rather a lot :D. Has your friend had it since then? The plate is very desirable, especially as it doesn't need to be doctored and Simon is a relatively common / popular name.

MR 51MGH on a C-Class

F2AMG spotted in my local pub on a C43.

Did you compare notes ? Your Reg Plate is much better, have you changed it yet ?

High Street Kensington the other day:

CAR 10 on a Mini

A very close call to CAR 10 is seen regularly around Wilmslow.

CAR 105 spaced as CAR1OS. On a Black R/R Vogue IIRC.

Also on a black R/R Vogue is JS 4. See it every two weeks or so in the car park at Sainsbury's Wilmslow. I wonder if there is a connection?

I've also seen RAD 104 spaced as RADIO 4 now and again.

Also around Wilmslow I have seen W1LLY on a black Porsche.

EGO 2 AMG

on a silver SLK, couldn't tell if it was a AMG or not, going in the opposite direction from me...

Apparently not; seems it belongs to a chap from Stratford upon Avon who also has JPS 2, CS 22, 5 J, 3 M and 4 T.

RAD 101 used to belong to Tommy Steele, while BBC veteran Bob Danvers-Walker used to have both RAD 10 and TV 1.

B1 LLY, F1 LLY and S1 LLY all live in London.

It's one of several numbers assigned to the Australian High Commission (ADE as in Adelaide), dating from when the High Commissioner or Agent General for each Australian territory used to have a London office.

Others include:

AUS 1
NSW 1 (New South Wales)
QLD 1 (Queensland)
TAS 1 (Tasmania)
VG 1 (Victorian Government)
WA 1 (Western Australia)

WA 1 is on a black Volvo S80 that can often be seen parked up in Earl's Court Road.

Not yet. It has to go back to Mb first for the roof lining

Do tell.... What is it?

COH 18A on a Rangie (with Smoker's Pack ticked, I assume) and
OAP 2 on a Previa or something (driver looked to be about mid-40s, so interesting choice of plate - I'd stick it on that Micra with the 350Z engine!)
