I understand if you have many cars, then as long as a plate you own the right to use does not make the car appear newer, you can swap it around your fleet.

I bet D14BLO wasn't cheap as it would have been withheld in 1986/1987 until a much later auction date (not that long ago) unless it was released earlier if that was possible.

I think there is a way of finding if it sold at dvla auction? Not sure for certain but some people seem to have had answer on here before? Cool plate if you have one.

I used 'my car check', they're still showing it as a C220, they are obviously slow updating their records in light of the 'spot' and your investigation.
