Looks like parts of the engine have been painted in the body colour. I had one exactly the same as that a few years ago. Incredible build quality, beautiful soft leather seats but I just hated driving the thing!
Mine had about 130K miles on it when I sold it. I often wondered if there was some wear on the transmission, but when I asked my mechanic he told me everything was fine. The previous owner was fastidious about maintenance (he was head of road safety in Northern Ireland) and I had a lot of bills for work including one from a main dealer of £8000 for a complete top end rebuild! I would have liked to get it sorted but I knew that it would never come close to the E30 M3 I had before it for driver satisfaction.
I've lost count on some of the things I've spent on this car - top end overhaul, suspension, wheels, etc etc.
I think the accumulators are about £100ish each side from MB, or about half that for FEBI-Bilstein replacements. The SLS struts are expensive, over £300 each new from MB - maybe slightly cheaper from one of he 3rd party suppliers.
Engine mounts were about £60 each from memory, the prop couplings I think are similar - £40/60ish.
Labour is about £120-140 at MB per hour round here, probably half of that at most good marque specialists or free if you are handy with the spanners!
Front anti-roll bar is standard on my car. Some people fit different bars as you say (W124 sportline, 2.5-16 EVO I/II(?) ), but I'm happy with my car as standard TBH.
