Nice car Sp!ke,
Where would Shude stand regarding copyright if a calender was made?

No doubt there would not be a problem if he soley used members cars with their permission.

I wonder how my 'stretched' limo would look? :)

Nick, is there anyway of putting a different 'baby' car on the background for each month of the calendar on this site? (slightly transparant effect if you know what I mean)
Just an idea

A calendar is possible.

I need a pic of at least about 1200x500 (width is halved in the making of the pic!). That only leaves a 600 pixels wide picture. For desktop sized pics (1024x768) I would need a minimum sized pic of 2048x854. That is for desktop use, if we were going to print anything the resolution may need to be higher (I know nothing about printing photography).

The pics need to be member-supplied to avoid any copyright issues, posting on a forum is ok but if the pics are to be used outside the forum then it gets a lot trickier (it's still dodgy using someone else's pics inside the forum!).

Pics are best posed somewhere between side-on and three-quarter angle. Obviously this is down to judgement and photographic skills but cars look best when viewed from a lower position, somewhere between half the height of the car and basically floor level. Please make sure the car takes up between 4/5 and 3/4 of the picture, some background is required to make the shot look more natural and for scale purposes.

Don't want much do I? :)

...calendar? Excellent Idea...it could become famous!
Rgds
Les
PS Famous as in the "roundabouts" calendar etc...

Thanks Shude, I think the SLK is the best but then again I would say that, keep up the good work.

Apart from the 'funny' car idea for a calander, there are some very nice Mercedes-Benz owned by members that would make a superb calander in their own right.

It would be unfair to list 12, but Sp!kes looks nice and that 'tatty' CL55AMG might be worth considering?

I'm fine with a calendar.

>Shude - a high res picture (2560 x 1704) can be found here if it helps

The suspension can be fixed during "photo processing" :) . Tyres can be blackened and shined, rust or marks or scratches etc can be removed, as can bad reflections or litter or basically ANYTHING :) . Can't be bothered to wax your car for the photo? A bit of extra contrast will fix that problem ;) .

Will it make my wheels look like polished alloy like they should be, instead of the salt/mud colour they are?
