DJM its totally awesome and was a dream to own such a car, you will get there mate and it will be worth the wait trust me.:thumb:

Thats the old ///AMG badge

If I was you I would seek compensation. How dare they put an old badge on a spankers £70k car :D

I think I upset my dealer enough when it came to buying this car for the amount of trouble they caused me.

To be honest I didn't even no there was a different AMG badge now, do you have a pic Pappilo?

....
My only problem is that I am becoming a little obsessive with the car and hate seeing her not looking her best all the time .....

....went to over take a car and the back again kicked out due to the power this thing kicks out. I am quickly realising that this is no way a winter car and by any means and needs to be respected at all times in these wet and icy conditions. If you abuse that then this thing will kick you into touch very quickly.....AND I LOVE IT.:D:D:D:D

LOL!!!!

HAHAHA! :D:D:D:D

Mate, I pi$$ed myself reading your post!:D:D

Extremely entertaining!

Firstly, about the sections of your post that I quoted..

Yes, you seem to be suffering from the same thing as me...

I cannot stand to see my car looking anything short of flawless.
This was never my intention, it just progressed to this.:crazy:

Call it OCD, pride, respect for the car, whatever.. but my 63 HAS to be spotless everytime I drive it.:o

Overtaking....

LOL!

I experienced the "63 madness" just the other day! (yes people, I did take my car out last saturday!:eek::eek::eek: lol)

.. I was stuck behind a learner doing, literally, 15mph!!.....
I tolerated this for..ooo...maybe 3 minutes and then decided enough was enough.
I did not at all mean to "un-leash hell and fury" but when I pulled out and prodded the throttle, I found myself roaring past the learner damn near sideways! LOL

It felt like I was actually looking directly at him/her as I past them! LOL!

I'm sure they must have sh#t their pants. Like I said, this was not my intention, but I couldn't help laugh my ar$e off.

Note to myself: Must drive 63 like old man in cold/ slippery conditions. LOL

Cats:
Mate, I am so sorry to hear this.
I love cats, but I feel your pain.
My little precious "Missy", took it upon herself to hop onto my car twice...

The first time, she slid straight off, presumably due to the copious amounts of wax. This made me laugh uncontrollably, and duely forgave her, thinking she has learned her lesson.

But no.

A few weeks later, when the car was out of the garage, she hopped onto the roof!:eek:

Instinct told me to shout at her and scare her off.... but no, this would have made her run and jump using her claws!

So I casually and slowly walked up to her, as if nothing was wrong and then grabbed the bitch! LOL!:D

I expressed my disgust at her and she has not tried again since.

Benjy, my good man, I am so glad to hear that you are still loving your 63.
It really is a pleasure to read your posts.

Ar you are a good man Rash... I think I am slowly turning into you mate, which aint a bad thing LOL. Yeah I no exactly what you are saying in that my obsession to keep her clean is getting worse......I even brought the hose in on Saturday to defrost it so I could wash the car Sunday (Didn't have the snow until the afternoon) and I think you could have heard my missus's screams all the way in Southend a good 10 miles away as the hose sat on the granite work top slowly defrosting itself when she walked into the kitchen. Well if you must no mate, she won the argument and the hose went back outside :(

I have to tell you I got caught out in the snow, I took the kids to see Tron on Saturday and didn;t know about the snow until I got a call from my pal asking me if I was ok and was I out in the snow in the car. I took a stroll to see what he was flapping on about and OMG, my car was in the car park covered in a foot of snow and it was chucking it down. My first thought was how I was going to getg the car home as I wasn't leaving it in the car park. So we chopped our film short and me and the kids got to the car and made our way home.

Now the cinema is only 10 minutes from my house but the car just couldn't get any grip at all and I skip out of the car park nearly hitting a car coming the other way......To say I was sh* tting my pants was an understatement mate. I managed to crawl to the main road whereby a nice lady stopped in her mini to let me out when a bloke who thought he was clever in a land rover thought he was immune to the snow and ice decided to brake as is if it was the summer and kindly hit this ladies rear end pushing her car towards me. My wheels were spinning like mad and I was moving a centimeter a second......My heart jumped into my mouth as she got closer to my car and the poor woman couldn't do anything about all becuase this idiot in the land rover thought he could drive as normal, how she missed me....Anyway I managed to get the car finally home and she is now sitting safely again on my drive....I wont get caught out like that again, it was terrifying. I think if she would have hit me I think I would have been physically sick.

same here .. reading that i wouldnt mind paying the 2.5% in jan...lol....
man its dangerous out there.... its not your driving its the other crazy people you got to watch out for

I Feel sick just reading it Benjy!

Mate, I have to say it was frightening I just didn't have any traction at all....By the way I love that Veyron, what a colour.:thumb:
