SL55 AMG. BLACK.
Just had the SL55 into a specialist for a thorough once over. All ok. Advised the light will come on soon advising the rear pads and discs need changing. Have been quoted £300 fitted. Don't have the parts/labour split on that but would consider sourcing the parts pads & discs myself so I know 100% I'm paying the right price. Where would you recommend I buy online?
Cheers

Carparts4less normally comes out cheap when using the discount codes advertised on the home page

As above, I was pleasantly surprised when I needed mine doing and ended up buying them from the stealer!

I'd get prices from your dealer, then look at Brembo discs and your choice of pads from HERE.

Thanks, prices look good. What's the differences between a coated disc and non coated?

Buy OEM via Inchcape online. You know you will get the correct quality parts

What about Euro Car Parts?

Yes I use them all the time because they have a trade counter about 2miles from my home. I find them very good, not always the cheapest and not the range and choices that Bestparts have.
Bestparts are slow to deliver though

EBC - they had a real poor reputation during my previous marque ownership

Use OEM disks from MB. They are always coated.

If you want dust less, use EBC Red pads, otherwise use oem mb pads.

there have been stories of squeeling etc from non oem stuff.
