Brake pad replacement and labour costs

Took my ML in for brake pad replacement recently. MB dealership charged £98 per hour labour (plus VAT) plus cost of pads. Rear pads and labour came to £250. ML's wear pads out in about 8,000 miles and thats with careful driving.

Since then I've found that Haynes in Worthing would do the same job for £35 per hour. Guess where I'll be going once the warranty expires!
 
just get the normal services in done by MB. Things like brake pads you can get the specialist to do. That way, you still have FMBSH
