C350e owners club

I lease mine through the company. However the alternative allowance is so poor that the net cost to me (including BIK tax) is less than £500 even in the worst year.

I looked at alternatives but could not get anything like as good a car by other means.

Mine is a company car. The company I work for use only Lex.

I have owned Mercedes before, but until now the BIK was too high to justify having one as a company car.

I didn't know about the C350e until is used the Lex search tool to find a car the did 0-60 in under 6 seconds and used less than 50g/km. I was actually searching to see if I could order Tesla 3, but when the C350e appeared I realised I really like petrol.

One frustrating journey home tonight The satnav tells me stationary traffic, alternative route will save you 27minutes...... how do you change to the route it came up with a lovely little icon on the left of the screen but I couldn't find a way to reroute onto this. Half an hour longer to get home, a little sport plus eased the stress once it cleared

So mine has developed an unhealthy interest in tram routes.

It seems to be determined to go down roads in Manchester that are 'tram only'!

So had the car for 8 months and enjoying the car but my mpg is not what I was expecting

I do enjoy the odd moment of sport+ and. I don't charge everyday but thought I would get better mpg

It's not bad for a 2 ton, automatic turbo petrol is it?
If you are able to charge it more, do.

Averaging 71mpg over 13k miles here, am a charge-a-holic though. Best achieved 111mpg, worst is about 41 I think. So electric costs to add to that.

It's costing about 10p a mile including electric costs, which is about about 0.5p more per mile than my 1.6 diesel civic. I don't count charging at work or anywhere else I don't pay in that though.

Is the chrome no longer standard or is it an option to go for black instead? Looks nice!

I think it's the 'Night Pack' option.

Swaps most of the external chrome for black, adds rear privacy glass and different wheels.

I much prefer it to the shiny stuff.

So here is an interesting question.

Me and a colleague both have a c350e, he a saloon, me an estate, both just the Sport spec, no packs, I have 360 camera and rear window tints, that's the only diffs.

But I have a much larger assembly behind my rear view mirror. I thought it was to do with the 360 setup but I can't see anything in the extra bits and the guy changing the screen at Autoglass didn't seem to think there were any cameras in there.

Any ideas?

Wow - that is a difference. I also have the estate with no options and the small rear view mirror assembly.

Isn't that the camera for reading speed limit signs?

Isn't that some kind of assistance pack though? I don't have any extras.

My Satnav shows the speed limits but I assume that's from a database as it doesn't update for speed restricted roadworks I don't think?

I really don't know! :D

I've got the big mirror pack and looking at my VIN decoded list, the most obvious items are:
- rain sensor
- traffic sign recognition
- collision warning system

I have rain sensor and collision warning with the small assembly

I took the night package for the black on white look and think it's a shame they left the chrome handles on.

I have the large setup on a saloon and figured they're the distronic/steering assist radars.
