ah i see, yes matey, i spoke ti them today, the bare metal gets sealed, then the gap gets closed off with an insert and bonded together, then the entire arch gets painted black inside. They have only had the car 5 days and will be at least another month untill completedI meant the two panel skins which are a structural part. Arch liner is a great idea, otherwise a lot of crud will build up behind the new arch, but I’m interested in whether they’ll be welding that open gap or bonding it in some way?

around 4 weeks guys till completion we have a very long way to go yet, all the glass comes out next week and car completely stripped. Then the paint....... Oh yeah the paint..

I really like this kind of stuff, hats off to you Lee for having it done. I don't think it devalues a 507 at all, only the cheap/bodged modifications do. This is being done properly and should look awesome.

I'm not worried about trying to retain value guys, if i was, well then i wouldn't be doing this, as the cost of this project is the same as buying a standard 2012 C63.. But what i am trying to to do is take this beast of a car that's already good and turn it into the car that should have been released from factory.
when i bought this car the only thing that let it down was the rear arches and huge lack of traction, now those issues have been fixed, what more of a car could you want?, massive engine. Better chassis, and hips like Beyoncé

dude. It's a left hooker, with near 90k on the clock, that's a bad buy. And would still need money spent on it.
besides, think your missing the point here, I'm not trying to build a black series. I'm building my dream. Not buying it off the shelf.

Definitely agree they should have come from factory with wider arches. Compared to the Audi RS's, they look like standard cars ie not aggressive enough imo
