C63 AMG lease deals

My deal was with Freedom Contracts, 6+23 527.99/m. All the good deals seem to be that ballpark. I've seen a 3+35 deal which works out a about £10/m cheaper but I didn't want the car for 3 years. Seems like a very good deal since the car will probably depreciate by more than the lease payments.

Watch out for hidden charges too.

I only got charged the MBFS £180 document fee, but some lease providers charge their own fee's too -think Freedom charge £300.

as mentioned earlier in this thread, i think best to get best online quote, print and take to your local MB dealer for price match...maybe:dk:

Quite a few, PM me If you want details... i work for a large investment house so can't be seen to be giving my tips publicly!

Can you please send me a PM, for some strange reason I'm unable to send you one.

Think you might have to get to a certain number of posts first?

Hmm yes freedom charge £300+vat so another 360 to consider when comparing deals, i'm guessing the MBFS £180 document fee is payable regardless of which lease company you go through.

so far freedom contracts are still coming in cheaper than the rest..

£666.40/month incl VAT - thats 3+23 month contract 10k miles for a c63 amg with performance pack and a fully maintained contract.

COMAND and leather seats are standard.

19" Titanium alloys are £625 a thee matt black alloys £1550

HK sound is £500 or so I think

Privacy glass £300

The freedom deal looks excellent, check MB website for what's on the PPP. Main upgrades are power and brakes, alcantara steering wheel and a few other bits.

Good job that its only a 2 year lease as the PPP pads and discs are expensive to replace - £2k IIRC

Out of interest, can you drop mileage below 10k pa to bring the cost down on leases? I don't do anything near that. Vaguely considering leasing when I've bad a couple of years in this, will see how much it ends up costing me and compare.

Dependant on lease company and specific deals, but in most cases you can.

FWIW I am dealing with Freedom right now for my new E Class runabout.

It's an established company, communication and phone calls are great and the girls running the admin are efficient and friendly.
Unusually there is a really great atmosphere in those offices...always chirpy and never rushed.
So far its been painless and I have every confidence they will deliver.

Interestingly the car they are brokering is supplied by a very large MB franachise in Exeter, and the lease is direct with MB.
But its cheaper than MB could do direct for me :)
Lots cheaper.

You 'may' find that MB don't inlcude RFL for years 2+3, and they charge admin on that. They were upfront about this from the get go though but worth allowing for that.
Depends who the lease is financed with I guess.
The setup fee was considerably less than many brokers too - often ITRO £300 now.

Awesome car. I have a pal running one too, its a nice toy - the sound is immense, you will love it.
In fact I may try and talk the wife into one next year at these prices - thats a good deal cheaper than the M3 E92.

Steve
(And hi to the S2Ki lads - moff, Gizzie etc, I'm seeing several familiar names on here!)

Hi M1BR, Fleetprices who I used for my C63 also use the same MB dealer in Exeter, it seems they have a good setup with great rates! At the end of the day most of these 'lease' places are in fact just brokers as the deal is with MBFS via Mercedes Benz of Exeter.

The 'lease' places claim back the VAT and make their profit that way, plus referrals I imagine.

I've got an E63 estate on order. Originally found out about the amazing lease deal from Freedom, and they were very easy to work with and communication was very good. They told me they work with Wolverhampton Merc, but they obviously have access to stock from a few dealers if they are supplying through Exeter as well.
At the same time I had approached 2 MB dealers to get their best deals.
Both were very slow getting back to me. I made a bit of a fuss, and after the retail representative could get nowhere near the deal offered by Freedom, they kicked me up to Business Development. They found the deal Freedom were quoting on and matched the price then and there.
So yes, you can get a main dealer to match almost any lease deal out there. You just have to bypass the reatail arm and go straight to the business development team.

My final deal:
E63 Estate (Facelift) - 6+23 10k Personal Lease at £475+vat pcm

As an addition, it was pointed out that you should never pay for additional mileage up front on a MB lease deal. The uplift in monthly payments for, say, an additional 2k pa miles (12k instead of 10k pa) is more than you would pay if you paid for the additional miles over 10k pa at the end basde on their 9p per mile over-mileage charge. So always take the lease based on 10k pa and pay the extra at the end using the 9p per mile surcharge when you hand the car back.

Finally, I did buy a C63 estate in cash 3 years ago. Ran it for three years, and now have to sell it or trade it.
In what it has cost me in depreciation and lost capital return I could have run 2 cars for the same period.......
I've learned my lesson. I'm taking advantage of these amazing lease deals this time around and keeping hold of my cash.
