They polish up pretty well lads! (sorry not the best of pics).
Simply insert a rotary wire wheel into your drill and carefully remove all the surface crud.
Then using an old rubber hook n loop backing plate, an old 4 inch coarse polishing pad + a coarse polish, buff to a high finish.
It would have been easier via a garage pit and simpler to remove the back boxes but the exhaust clamp looked too rusted to remove, so this will be another day when time permits.

I think I like it and I think I like you can even be bothered to do it.
I might have to try it. Have you protected them after? Alloy wheel seal?

Do you do this to save wear on your tyres?? :)

Nothing on them yet for protection. I thought about high temp clear lacquer, but may just use a product called Rejex, this works well on chrome / Stainless parts that dont get too hot.
I know you have to get on your knees to see them but they sure look good.
Its always nice to know that your undercarraige is clean!!!!!!!

nice n clean, just need to work on getting the tar off the bumper now ;)

Hmmmm.... Your enthusiasm pleases me...

The cars in at Sytners of Sheffield soon to have a few paint issues addressed, this includes the underneath of the rear valence just behind the rear wheels, thats why I havnt removed the tar spots, but you are right its no excuse, they should have been removed!
