C63 Owners do you get problems?

Just don't race this one...

I had one of these try and pull away from me on a dual carriageway not long ago - couldn't manage it.

Then pulled over to let me past to show me how easily he could keep up with my car with his female companion in the passenger seat.

Under-estimated that old "E200K with stuck-on AMG exhausts" didn't you.

:D

It did alright actually to be fair but the difference was substantial.

I guess he was used to dispatching most stuff as you say.

Well that's hardly surprising, silly motorway speeds are what AMGs do best.

If it was from a standing start, it would be a lot different. Those TTR'S with a remap and small mods are well north of 400bhp, with a twin clutch box and 4wd its a rocket.

Hmm, I don't know. I might not be off the line as quick but displacement tends to reign them back in.

I'd certainly have a go with that as it looked like some of the competitors were making ground in the end!

TTRS is a VERY underrated car and have to say would likely annihilate most cars on the road with a light tune. Grip is immense!

I can confirm :
They corner like go karts ! You can get on the power very early with no surprises at all , especially in the dry . Ok 360 bhp dont sound a lot but ... In a TT it's plain silly ! But brilliant !

You'd have a chance on a 5 mile strip.

Yep ! Sub 4 seconds in a sorted TTRS .

You can talk all you like about TTRS, great car but no way a C63! The noise, oh man the noise!

I know . Coming straight from one to the other .... I have no regrets . Just good memories !

With a box of tissues and a brolly on his back shelf !

Lol I wish I never bought my e46 m3 all that time ago as I was more than happy with the performance of the 350. It's a slippery slope and has wasted so much cash. :wallbash:

I hear you and feel your pain! Only had my 350 for 6 months and I have to say it was really nice (black with black interior) :D

But at least you can say you had an M3, always better to "Do" and not just "Wish".

I think it's a happy addiction we all suffer from:eek:

I get absolutely nothing of the sort in my E63. Nothing.

I have to agree with this, I also have the German style/font number plate on which dos attract some curiosity but no hatred or jealousy..

Besides if I do let her at it the Germans get the blame! ;)

Yep ! Sub 4 seconds in a sorted TTRS .

I got a Racelogic 4.1s when mine was running 510BHP before...

Admittedly it is trickier now with 600 but do-able and maybe I can beat that!

It would destroy you in 1/4 mile John.

A standard one, no. I've already seen the results of that.

A tuned one running 100BHP or more on top - so getting on for late 400s? Should be quicker.

However, as we know, it's down to the driver and the start you get and none of this is much use at Vmax - which is where it really matters...

:bannana:

Just to confirm - I have no umbrellas or tissues in my car. I'm not a dogger. :D

Doggin is the way forward ....

No good in a c63 the seat bolsters get in the way

I take my BJ's stood up with the door open , wearing the mask of Zorro !
