Charity Goodwood track day

Booked, hope we can get out before Nov though.

Be a nice thought Justin, look forward to anything that comes up before November, its a long time frame.:thumb:

Hi Ricky , when's the next loud day?
The 911 is never going to get on a 98db day :(

Paul, long time no see mate. A noisy track day, really not sure, the only one that a few of us would have gone on, has been abandoned, so nothing in the pipeline in the short term unfortunatly. If anything pops up I will post it up to see if anyone is interested, but it's usually all too shorter notice for most people. Interesting that Goodwood lists a 'AMG track day' on the 24th June and the surposidily abandoned TD is also still listed for mid July, will make a call to Goodwood in the morning, and see if there's information to be had, moreso on this AMG day.

It would appear that the 'AMG track day' is an experience day, probably a private corporate day, sent the organisers a mail last night, but not heard anything at this time, so assuming there is no opportunities for a day out there. The other day, is definitely abandoned apparently, so track day wise, just November to look forward to at the moment:cool:.

CSR called me today, one of his friends is also now coming along to join us on this Goodwood track day, not a Merc, but in his Ferrari 430.

Tell him to keep off the loud pedal! My friend was pulled in last time round in his 430 due to noise, he did get 20 laps in before noise stopped play though.

Thanks Justin, had been discussing this subject with CSR, have left it with the organisers to clarify with GW what their thoughts are on a standard 430 making their noise level, just a bit of concern that its only a 98DB day:o

A midst selling off some of my spare BBS wheels on Ebay recently, got talking with Peter, he loves Goodwood as does his Son David, both paid and booked to join us few guys on the 29th November track day, so a little more interest for the day.

Simon M ( car not known dependant on what brought or not brought)
CSR (suspect Nissan GTR)
Maff (car not known, but Maff being Maff, will be something quick)
Ricky S (only the one car to race that I have)
Acej (C63 yesterday, Sl63 today, who knows in November)
Iain..awaiting confirmation noise test on his Ferrari, but not looking good.

As ever Rash, we all appreciate and look forward to your company mate, as well as your efforts to always join in the various events that the forums hold, and we don't even notice your signature anymore, Rash, we already know if the weathers, C**p Rash will be indoors with computor looking at long range weather forcast, veiwing where the salt is being dispensed!

Look forward to a chat mate. My cars off to that company we discussed, for a minor modding shortly, thanks for your help and advise mate.:thumb:

Couldn't have said it any better although the last Goodwood day I went with Rash we did actually get sleet and snow

Yes that particular day it was probably the worst day weather wise that I had been at Goodwood, hopefully better days to come and look forward too.:p

Cheers Ricky, there were a few last minute cancellations last year so well worth going on the list.

Few people from another forum I frequent going too so a few Porsches will be on hand.
