Hi no need just come along and spectate, i might join you guys.

I will bring those spare filters for you. It would be good to catch-up.

Might skive off for the day - is there a 'spectators' ticket option?

Unofficial meet by the look of it. The event is for the eve appeal so a small donation on the day or a raffle ticket would be greatly appreciate.

Maybe see you there?

Looks like a dry day is forecast everywhere I have looked, which is great, but going to be very very cold, so take care on the roads en route down to GW, and make sure you all wrap up warm on the day guys:thumb:
Look forward to catching up with you all.

have a great time guys

Thanks Ricky,

Fingers crossed it stays clear and the track defrosts as quick as it did last year, not staying over the night before so an early start for me.

Looking forward to a great day.

Just a reminder to the guys listed above, wrap up warm, and bring your driving licences with you. Looks like dry day, albeit a little cold. Looking forward to having an very belated chat with you all, and also for me personally, to seeing Simon M, Justin, CSR, and Maff in action with their JCW, SL63, GTR and SLK 55, that's going to be real fun viewing, just what track days are for with a few TD buddies, roll on Friday, Simon also tells me a couple of Porsches coming to play as well, going to be a good day, C U down their guys. :thumb:

Cheers Ricky looking forward to a good chat and and some speed appreciation see you Friday.

Safe journey's all and see you all bright and early.

Justin

AceJ, Think me and Simon are applying the 'superfast go faster wax' to our cars tomorrow, (both it seems have day off prepping our cars), so thinking you may have to drive to the limits of -0000.22 percentage of our premium driving ability to get past us:eek:!!!!! Already sampled the rear end sound of your car en route with Sav to Acids, so look forward to hearing it all again mate, awesome sound:D

:-) at work all day so mine won't be as slippery with all that commuting grime! I think your playing down your track skills you left me for dust last time out when I had the C!!!

I melted a set of tires the week after acids at northweld, the middles were fine but the sides were shot so new rubber installed last Sat so grip should be good lets hope I won't, be on my 3rd set in 4months my wife buys something expensive every time I track to compensate :-)

Getting excited.

Just got in M25 was shocking. Simon, Ricky, Alx and CSR really enjoyed your company today good laugh and conditions were great. Ricky quick as always and if it wasn't for my unexpected passenger we could have had more of a play! Simon thanks again for the fob and it was good to catch-up as always and what's a stick shift? Alx glad the car issue was minor, thanks for the food and those wheels look really good can't wait to see what you do to the rest of it. CSR well what can I say other than it was the Audi!! Great machine you have there (if a bit loud) must of been the quickest out there today. Hope to catch-up with you all soon. Justin

Just to say a quick thank you, to Simon M, AceJ, CSR, Alx, DC, PC, Iain F, Toyneg, Jay, for all the company and entertainment today, on and off track, possible the most enjoyable Eve appeal day I had been on. Weather was real good for pushing the cars, and with so many great and alsorts cars in attendance. AceJ and CSR were really fast today, Simon was getting to grips of Manuel mode (seek advice from Rashman mate!), Alx enjoying bringing his new AMG 55 toy out to play for a while, till, I believe good old IC pump issue, but minor in scheme of owning an AMG, and the Ferrari and 3 no. Audis were awesome to hear and see performing on track, a great fun day. Stories of the day, whilst Maff could not make the day, he kindly flew down to watch us ole boys performing in the afternoon, various cars having noise issues, with a few orange 'noise exceeded'stickers applied to various unnamed cars within our group, which created numerous laughter moments and whilst I managed to Fry my brakes on 3 no occasions, CSR managed to nearly set his on fire during one session, took a little bit of
cruising to cool them down:D I must say the GW marshals were so good working withal the guys with noise issue's, they could easily have said to go, but good for them, made the day so more entertaining. Finally just a mention to the Eve appeal Charity that organised the event, as said, I think this was the best one that I had been on, and think Simon has been on them all as well in the last 4 years, they put together a great day out, and look forward to seeing you all again next year hopefully.:thumb: Lastly, AceJ, not sure what was going on, but thinking he was taking an ALPs liberty, as Alps does at Trax, lots of lovely young ladies usually drapped over his car being photographed! no AceJ, has some unknown very pretty young lady suddenly appear in the passenger seat as going out on track, I surpose that's what a majestic looking and sounding SL63AMG car gets you, those wonderful moments! but lets not tell his wife.:D Great day out guys, thank you all.:thumb:

On amore personal note, just to take this opportunity, and appreciate its real early, but wish all my mates within this forum all the best for Christmas and the new year, and hopefully catch up some time in warmer weather.

Great summary puts me to shame. If we don't speak before Ricky have a great Christmas and a happy new year too.

Cheers mate.

Justin
