Decisions decisions.....what new car?

UPDATE:

Still no build date.......but been confirmed that the car WILL come with Rear and Front park distance control. :) The price list contradicts this :dk:

I will also be one of the first to get the new version of iDrive in an F30....WooHoooo!:bannana: ......I think.....not sure what old iDrive did......but apparently I get higher resolution graphics and upgrades for processor and memory plus new software. Got to be good ...right? :)

From the video clip I saw the Sat Nav looks amazing, actually has like google earth rendering. A CGI world, instead of a blue line on a green background.

Can't wait now

Do you mind sharing what deal you got, is it personal lease or buy?

Sounds like a great car BTW, well done.

Hi
So you have done the deed at last!! I'm hoping to make a decision this weekend.
Would you mind sending me a PM with the deal you got in the end,I've been quoted a figure and wanted to compare.

Hi sweetmeister

PM sent.

Just an update: I couldn't resist a few more ticks on the order form....added reverse camera and M sport brakes.....banned myself from reading anything F30 related, in case I convince myself that I need a few more options. Really being drawn in by Tanzanite blue, which is a £810 option.:doh:

Did you order indicators ?

^^^ Ha ha, yes :)

I'm going to miss people letting you out :wallbash:

The deed is done :thumb:

I caved in to the pressure of more goodies

I now have in addition to the list before:

  1. Active Cruise control with stop start function (Lazy git) :bannana:
  2. Speed limit display (got to protect those points)
  3. Adaptive sports suspension
Great news is........I got these added for free .....well a squeezed overall deal :)

Just waiting to hear when it will be delivered....Early November from initial forecast.

I don't know much (anything) about Beemer's but my pal has an F30 5 series without adaptive suspension and even with 55 profile tyres the ride isn't good.
He wishes he'd got it and tells me it's one of those must have's according to the Beemer forums/press.

A good move.

I think the 3 series is about as complete a car as you can buy in it's class.

Yes, too hard a suspension can ruin the ride. I owned an Audi S-Line which was not pleasant to drive in some instances.

With the BMW, I test drove the standard car with 18" wheels on it. I thought it was quite firm for a 'standard' car, and was almost perfect for me ( I don't like overly soft).
Obviously the M Sport suspension is lower and stiffer than the car I test drove, also has 19" low profiles, so was a little nervous it might be too hard, and more like that S-Line Audi.
My options were to delete the M Sport suspension, or to go Adaptive, which kind of switches between the two. I read a few F30 owners raving about the adaptive, so......mind made up.
To be fair to BMW, it was only £515 option, which I think was good VFM. I think on the E coupe it was £1100.

Tanzanite Blue is a must, then at least you will have one thing in common with some of the Forum Members :thumb:
