Well did the engine mounts last night with the help of a good friend, All went pretty well tbf.
There is no need to remove the alternator or Catalyst for the Osf though it would make things alittle easier.
Took about 1hr half in the end but was well worth doing. No more slap side to side when turning the engine off.
The Old mounts had been compressed about a 1" over the new replacement ones, the replacements were actually made by Boge the same that had come off.
Car feels very very tight on the road now and very smooth.
Just read through your build, some very inspiring levels of attention to detail there, shame you had to sell it.
I bought my w211 a week ago with many plans, many of which I see you did on yours. Anyway, great work on the car mate, look forward to see what you replaced it with!
