hi im planning to give my paint work a treat over easter and wanted to make sure that im doing things in the correct order
-wash (2 bucket method)
-sonus detailing clay
-wash
-auto glym super resin polish (2 coats)
-auto glym extra gloss protection
-chemical guys 50/50 wax (2 coats)

is this method ok ?
any ideas or suggestions are most welcome :thumb:

The only thing you've overlooked is a large pot of elbow grease!

The other thing to consider is paint correction between the clay and the polish - if you have any swirl marks or fine scratches. Best done with a DA (or rotary, if you know what you're doing) polisher, otherwise it's very hard work!

There are very good "basic car cleaning" guides on here (I think) and on detaillingworld.co.uk
