Diesel Tuning and Performance Mods.

535d auto only. I'd say your better off with a 335d, must be able to get 370-400bhp out of that sucker
Seriously, how long would that engine last? Being tuned to within an inch of its life? :dk:

This might sound a very daft question, but would it be possible to put another turbo on the 250 CDi? Making it a twin? Or would it just cost too much?:dk:

A 250cdi is a two turbo engine, as is the new 220cdi ;)

Makes them very tractable from low revs and smoothish in their delivery. Cannot match a 6pot but in a C class sized car they wont work too hard.

I reckon if you upgrade and seriously modify the pistons, injectors etc a long enough time. Its upping the power just by increasing boost pressure that kills engines, the rest of the system has to be able to take it/

PS MB really need to make a rival to the 35d engine, they have the know how with the 250cdi but a two turbo of the v6cdi is needed.

There is the v8cdi and how I'd love to see that plonked in a C class, making nigh on 400bhp and 700ft/b torque and calling it the C40amg Cdi. Or even in a CLC....
