Disaster - max revs, pushing it very hard, then suddenly oil everywere :(

That's disgusting !

Take it back to the dealer , threaten them , get trading standards involved , leave it on their forecourt with banners on it , demand to see the dealer principal , ask on a lawnmower forum for the email address of the UK CEO .

You should expect more having spent so much on a lawnmower ! Sickening.

( just covering all the usual bases ) ;)

Clean it up and get it to Acid at MSL.

Supercharge the fecker - your grass will not know what's hit it :D

Do lawn mowers need oil? Pretty convinced that ours has run without for a year.... Whenever I put it in, it just seems to burn off.

I have a Briggs & Stratton Workshop manual on a CD somewhere if you want it John?

From a previous existence when I used to get my hands dirty. :)

4 strokes need oil...2 strokes need it too...but mixed with petrol.

Ho ho, some funny replies :D.

Thanks for the offers of help, however, it was operator error.

Whilst negotiating a vine a tendril got caught up in the oil filler/dipstick and turned it a 1/4 turn, loosening it, allowing the oil to spew out before I noticed it .

I resent the suggestion that my wonderful AMG engine might have failed as I have the multi award winning M156...

oh, hang on a mo....

Didn't see it coming? None of this would have happened if you fitted the lawn mower with aftermarket HIDs.

Pest -tronic ?

Ha, seeing that oily mess brought back memories of my series 3 Land Rover.

And don't let them repair it either ! Demand a new one !

Looks like poor preparation from winter storage and eager to use it caused this, you even left the winter wheels and tyres on.

:(

Needs to go on star !
