Do these wheels/tyres fit?? Read this first! Offset/fitment answers within..

Bit of an emergency this morning having found 2 wheels with 2 cracks each! 🤬

I have a 2013 s204
Recommended specs from alloywheelsdirect are
Fronts 18x7.5 Et47
Rears 18x8.5 Et58

Opting to just replace rather than repair and found a set of rims 18x7.5 et44 (3mm less) and 18x8.5 et49 (9mm less) so offset differs slightly but I just want to check they'll fit without issue?
Do you know what you have fitted now
My cracked ones are 19x9 (rears) but there is no ET stamp on them
Easy enough to check if you take the wheel off and have a straight edge and rule or tape measure

Based on this they are ET54 so the new ones would be 5mm different

So if I have worked that out correctly, it will be 12mm further from the suspension (change from 9j to 8.5j) and 2mm further in on the face

So that means they fit?
Just after a comment from someone with more expertise than myself really before I set off to buy them

They should fit then. Ignore the tyre sizes. As long as the bolt holes and spigot bore are correct

Yeah they're genuine Merc wheels, just not sure what they came on. Think they're w205.

Thanksu, mch appreciated

Not an issue I expected to deal with today

I have an SLC and early Merc wheel bolts were smaller diameter so be wary. I have a set of 18" AMG Turbines i might sell but think it could be close with the offsets approx 12mm further out on the rear and 10mm on the front

Does anyone have the max tyre size for a comercial citan 21 plate ?
I’ve been offered a set of four general grabber at3 they’re 205/70/15 they’re a steal but only if they fit 🤪 any help much appreciated

I'd really appreciate some help too!

I have a C200 and I bought it with 20" alloys and 20" tyres. After about a 2 years(I don't drive the car to much) the tyres need to be changed.

I am having trouble buying replacements because the recommended tyre size for this car is max 19" I believe.

The car currently has 245/35 20" tyres on the front and 275/30 20" tyres on the back.

Can I just replace these tyres with the same sizes it currently has on? Or do I not have a choice and do I need to downsize both the alloys and the tyres to a size that won't cause damage to the car?

any knowledge on what the maximum tyre width, profile and size a C200 can have. Would be much appreciated.

Your fuel flap states tyre sizes , also have a look on an alloy wheels website like rimstyle. For wheel tyre combos, it's the Et that's important for fitment.

Even if the wheels are not standard for your model, as long as you are happy with them and they have caused no issues then you could replace the tyres like for like - you’ll be in no worse position than you are right now - better in fact, as you will be rolling in new tyres.

If the wheels and tyres are not a standard size for your car then it would be wise to inform your insurer to avoid complications in the event of a claim.
