This website shows all the 20" OEM and Brabus wheels suitable for your Coupe.

Looking at the ET on the ones on eBay it shows ET30 which is 27mm closer to the wheel arch than recommended. I think you'd have problems fitting those.
Thanks I couldn't work it out plus mine is a saloon not a coupe

Ah, sorry thought you had a coupe.
Here's the list of alloys for the saloon. No AMG 20" at all just Brabus who don't state the ET of their wheels.

IMO it would still be risky to buy without knowing 100% if they fit.

I've been on the wheel base site and vossen do 20"wheels but with 255,30,20 all round I think ill do some more homework 😅 thanks

does anyone know if i can get some 8.5x18 et38 and 9.5x18 et56 onto a s213 currently running the 20's so 8x20 et43 and 9x20 et49

the replacements are w205 c63 10 spokes as im sick of the ride and wincing about every bump going to crack them :D

Should be OK.
Recommended 18" AMG alloys for an S213 are
Front wheels 8Jx18 ET43 Tyre sizes 245x45xR18
Rear Wheels:9Jx18 ET49 Tyre sizes 275X40xR18

Tyre sizes 275X40xR18

I want to put these 205 C63 Saloon Oem wheels on my 205 C43 coupe

Current wheels, Stock Turbines Front 225-40-19 7.5 et33 Rear255-35-19 8.5 et 52

C63 Wheels Oem 205 Saloon Front 245-40-19 8.5 et38 Rear 265-35-19 9.5 et 56 (these bolt on fine)

I know ill need Front spacers but want to keep thickness to a minimum to avoid to much poke and have a good fit

Any ideas
Tia

the wheel is tight against the brake caliper, wont move, i tried a 5mm shim for size,it clears brake but tiny rub on arm, im thinking maybe 8mm should do it or 12mm at max

Having studied the guide at the start of this post, I am still really struggling to find the right tyres for my Mercedes, and wondered if anyone could help.

I have a 2008 Vito, 115 CDI Extra Long. I have turned it into a camper. What size of tyres do you think I require?

will 8.5x18 et38 with 245x40
and
9.5x18 et56 265x40

From the footnotes bottom of the page
RA=rear
RA2 Flare the bumper
RA7 Extend the inner wheelhouse to the outer shell

You mentioned that the C63 wheels have different specifications compared to your current stock wheels. The C63 wheels are 245-40-19 8.5 et38 for the front and 265-35-19 9.5 et56 for the rear, while your stock wheels are 225-40-19 7.5 et33 for the front and 255-35-19 8.5 et52 for the rear.

To ensure a good fit and avoid excessive poke, you're considering using front spacers. However, you want to keep the spacer thickness to a minimum.

Given this information, one potential solution could be to use front wheel spacers that are specifically designed for your car model and are of appropriate thickness. These spacers can be installed between the wheel hub and the wheel itself, effectively pushing the wheel outwards. By carefully selecting spacers of suitable thickness, you can achieve a better fitment while minimizing any excessive poke.

Anyone fitted 19" SL wheels to an SLK/SLC 172 ?

From what I can see using the willtheyfit tool

My current wheels are AMG Turbines
8 x 18 et 43
9 x 18 et 42

FRONT
Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 1.7mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 14.4mm more than before.

REAR
Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 12.4mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 0.3mm more than before.

Think the rears with spacers to bring them out will be ok but not sure on the fronts if they will clear the wings being already further out by 14.4mm

Have to get measuring

I've read the sticky and the alloywheelsdirect pdf. :)

Looking to put ML alloys on a Viano. They generally come with 255/50/19s.

The Avantgarde Viano has 245/45/19s, so that's a 5% increase in radius for the MLs.

I've only found one example of these fitted to a Viano and it was from an advert a few years back.

Anyone done this fitment?

Thanks.

I’m planning on getting some winter wheels.
I didn’t really want my first post to be a dreaded wheel fitment question, but it is what it is, I recently bought a C250d S205, with the 18 inch AMG line wheels, I believe I have staggered fitment, 7.5J ET44 at the front and 8.5J ET 49 at the back; please, someone correct me if I’m wrong. Now I want to put on a new set of winter wheels, the set that I have seen are a square set up with a ET Fitment of 38, tyres are 245/45/17.
from what I understood these should fit giving enough clearance to the front callipers, but I understand they will stick out slightly. Does anybody have the knowledge to tell me if the wheels will stick out too much causing rubbing issues on the arches? Or any other issues?
Thanks in advance

Bit of an emergency this morning having found 2 wheels with 2 cracks each! 🤬

I have a 2013 s204
Recommended specs from alloywheelsdirect are
Fronts 18x7.5 Et47
Rears 18x8.5 Et58

Opting to just replace rather than repair and found a set of rims 18x7.5 et44 (3mm less) and 18x8.5 et49 (9mm less) so offset differs slightly but I just want to check they'll fit without issue?
