E270 CDI ...brakes making a hissing sound?

sometimes when I brake...at slow speeds..i hear a low hiss...kinda like a whistle from the brakes ...what do you guys think it could be...old brake pads?..the cars done only 2860 miles . and no its not that familiar rumble of the sensotronic braking system...this happens when i brake
