My driveway gate posts are tightish, so my question is what's the dimension of the door mirrors 1 to the other, Autotrader specs say 1995mm but can't confirm that anywere else.

TA.

normally vehicle dimensions are exclusive of mirrors... if course if you were looking at one with folding mirrors...

Then again, it's hard to reverse through a tight gap when your mirrors are folded away.....

Maybe a C class would fit easier.

E Class is the car I want, oh and my cake :D

The official dimensions are 1799mm to the edges of the doors so add extra for the mirrors.

Most makers do give 'overall' external dimensions (i.e. including mirrors, roof rails, etc.), because that's what people generally need to know. For the current E Class estate (M-B website):

You need the M-B figures though ... I wouldn't trust what's on Auto Trader.

Hi

The extremities of the mirrors on a 210 are 1985mm.

The extremities of the mirrors on a 124 are 1885mm.
Just measured both!

Thats progression for you.

If the diagram for the 211 is correct, God knows what size the 212 will be when it arrives!!!

Isnt most of that down to symetrical mirrors on the 210?

Hi

Yes 1 of the mirrors of the 124 is approx 40mm smaller/bigger than the other.
