First problem with C63

Not so much of a problem just an update on wear and tear

my cars just been in for the A service @ 11500 miles
all is well and they have noted
brake pads Front 30% worn approx.
brake pads Rear 10% worn approx.
discs themselves are fine
they say this is very low wear after such mileage
how does this compare to other AMG / c63 's
also
my winter tyres have now done 5000 miles and erm.. appear to be indestructable....
fronts 7-8 mm rears 6 mm

......and does this confirm that i drive like a lady?:D

Mika, play with the loud pedal some more, you know you want to :-). Update much appreciated.

Simon, did the dealer ever address this issue?

Sorry I haven't seen this until now. Yes they fixed it no probs, better than the 4 months that I am still waiting for a replacement wing mirror!!!

Not sure what the did, probably brute force but I don't care - they are like Mika's now, but now symmetrical.

Mika, how much was the service?

Mika that service came round quick! I'm sure you got your car after mine, and I've only just done 8,000 miles!

My winters appear to be doing equally as well, although it will soon be time to switch back to summer tyres (don't think the rears will last till next winter).

The service is quite pricey, which is effectively just an oil change and a few visual inspections. Oh well, the price you have to pay to get it done at a MB dealer...

Dont think my rears will last long,i cant help but slide it on the power on a certain roundabout on the way to the gym each morning, also i wasnt going to say anything but the fix on the rear spoiler lasted 2 weeks,i called MB leeds and they didnt even return my call, but as its only a stop gap lease car i dont care, but do not buy a c63 next year ex lease as it has had plenty of benz brutality!!!!,next car is a Bentley Supersports Convertable.:bannana:
