Fresh from TLC at Topaz Detailing

I think the photos have had a little tweak, but it looks great nonetheless!

Simon, I've tweaked the white balance but otherwise they're as they came out of the camera. It was a good camera and lens though, and all those lights in the room maximise the effect as well.

What ? You plan to drive it ?

I was....but it really is difficult unless the ground is 100% dry. It went straight from the shop into my garage 2 minutes away and this weekend looks very wet. I suppose after the first time it gets dirty, it will become easier. I hope so anyway!

wow that looks fantastic
if i remember your car looked very tidy indeed before it went into high gloss heaven
nice job

I can an understand that. I have a great big  when it rains after a straight wash, nevermind a treatment like that.

There's only one thing to do after you get it dirty for the first time. Leave it out in the rain and enjoy the strange satisfaction which comes from beading!!

Mika, I've avoided black cars for decades because they show up every single speck of dust and the tiniest scratch but I suppose this is the flip side when it is clean. Now it's deep-down clean but not for long :dk:

Greg, car looks great, your next challenge is to find someone to detail it wth the 007 chemicals to make it virtually invisible! Seriously, nice job, it will get dirty, but go enjoy it!

Hope to see you sometime.

Kamal

Fantastic car and great job by topaz!:)

Wow that looks fantastic! Next step - once it gets wet, get some beading pictures up. That is if any water even sticks to that surface!!

Stunning finish......hard to explain to someone the difference wetsanding makes until you actually get to see a car like this.

Your car is very clean. Black paints are superb for showing up the reflections and you can see, with the high end products here how much of a reflection you can get from the paint.

But I'd rather read about the car being taken for a drive say up the Hardknotts pass, up over here on a tour or some donuts in an aircraft hanger.

Great job, but driving them is really what these cars are about.

Will do - I am only 5 mins drive from them. Do they really tend to keep the car 3 - 5 days? Or is this a worst case?

Thats my xmas present to myself sorted!

I wasn't in a hurry so didn't press them but I would think it will be a minimum of 3 days. They can speed things up by using heaters to accelerate the curing process for each layer of wax but I didn't want to rush it. Discuss it with them beforehand. Great xmas present. You'll be impressed by the cars in their workshops!
