Had an issue with engine cutting out following fuel filter change - this turned out to be air in-leakage via the rubber fuel hose connecting the chassis supply to the pre-heater and is now solved. However, it now appears that the fuel from the passenger side of the fuel tank is no longer being educted into the drivers side (this function was OK before the filter change) - a temporary solution is of course to keep the tank full. I intend to run the tank down (carrying 5 litres diesel in a can just in case) to see if the problem remains after having fixed the air leak as described above - anyone any experience of this issue - i have wondered whether before the air leak became so bad as to cause the engine to stall, was a fuel + air mixture returning to the tank which prevented the educter from lifting?
