GARMIN MAP PILOT 2014 Europe - unable to update since the card is too small

Hi all,

So got this and I need to update. It's 2014 MAP PILOT EUROPE and the car is C200.

Pretty sure this thing has not been updated ever since my car was manufactured or when it went in the car (09-2015). I put it in my laptop, and it shows me that the map update itself is something like 16GB. The card itself is 16GB, so it shows that SD card is full therefore it can't install update. I was able to update the software itself on it, but not the map.


I need it for Sunday as I'll be making my way from UK to east Europe.

Any ideas?

Delete the manual off the card.
Update MB downloader, the newer one lets you back up the card.

Thought wont get an answer tonight, went to the car, plugged it in. Everything good. Saw your post. Got it back to the house, deleted the manual, now I connect it to the software and it says that everything is up to date...
