Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

Think I saw a Shelby GT500 Super Snake (something like that)
A bit of a space ship - wide body, air suspension resting on the ground, upward opening drivers door and soooo very loud.
A far cry from the 1960s original.

.....like this?

Shelby Super Snake.......which coincidently is my wifes nickname for me!!!! 😄

The drivers door opened like a Lamborghini Countach scissor door. The passenger door looked to open normal style.

Yeah....there are several aftermarket scissor door kits for them......one of my young neighbours (now moved away thankfully) had scissor door conversion on his Corsa!!!

He was a nice enough lad....reminded me of me at his age.....car modding mad......but his pipe with dual exit (one each side) was straight through with 3 inch tube....no baffles at all!!! It could wake the dead.....which is why I said I was glad when his family moved away!!!

I saw a great photo years ago showing a Corsa in a petrol station with its naff scissor door conversion beside a newer Lambo that didn’t have scissor doors.

The caption read “Scissor doors are so naff even Lambo’s don’t have them” 🤣🤣

Can’t help but think they look like datum marks for a Euro NCAP test

If you want to be really silly, what you need is 'busa engine boosted to about 350bhp in a car which weighs little over 350kgs and climbs hills....
quickly! A good friend of mine is owner and driver of this. Holds a fair few course records!

Hi
This reminds me of one of my kit cars - a Tiger Super Six.
It had an RS2.1 blueprinted engine and went extremely well!
I previously owned two Dutton kit cars in my younger days - a Dutton Malaga & a Dutton Phaeton.
This is a picture of the Tiger (wish I never sold it!!)
