Have You Seen Any Interesting Cars On The Road Lately?

Built down to a price…

Just like mine that one!
It was one car in a succession of fairly cr@p cars I ran after passing my test. The Marina replaced a Fiat 128 which was reasonably fun to drive and also fun to guess which particular bit would dissolve into dust on the driveway next. The Marina was replaced by a Rustin Allaggro which was in no way fun.

There is a chocolate brown one down the road from me. He recons its one of only a handful left on the road.

History, it’s our history

(TBH, the real reason so many collapsed was that they’d done mega miles and been clocked a few times, as “they” did back then. Different times)

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Especially when you leave the remains of the original hinges on the outside to no longer line up
Looking at that photo a bit more closely I’m not sure the door is actually closed properly. Look at the roofline and to the right of the door handle.

It could be that is closed and the shut lines are that bad. It would be great to get all the evidence before passing judgement.

My mate has a Honda VTec lump running throttle bodies with about 250 horses in his old Mini....easy job as its done so often that fitting kits are available!
I wonder where you hide a working radiator:dk:
My old Mini got to1293cc back in the early 70’s and that was a bit of an issue to cool. I’ve also run the Honda Vtec in race cars and know it likes a decent air supply if you are going to use many of the horses….

I love stuff like that and have seen Hayabusa, Blackbird and GSXR 1000 engines transplanted into Minis on Facebook forums and various car sites.
