And so the Clean up Continue's, BOTG next wkend so i dont want the car to get shown up, Im doing my best to get her ready.

Autosol and washing up Scourer, and the inside of the Tailpipes were clean, The rear Silencers and exhaust pipes also came up well with Autosol.

Megs Tyre/Trim Gel on the plastics and the Diff cooler painted VHT Silver, Although i confessthis could do with being welded as some Dip*** must have jacked it up on it cracking it in the process as they are only alloy.

Anyway looking much fresher.

Also could do with a couple of new Silencer Heat shields at some point.

Looks good, the heat shields are not that expensive in the big way of things and would be good for many years to come.

Annoys me the amount of cars we see with big washers added to hold shields on as they have corroded away.

Yes Pat, i remember you got some for your's, When i've got abit more time i'll definitely get some sorted, :thumb:

Just a Small update, we had a great drive to and from BOTG, I did a Brim to Brim mpg check and despite having a Tunnel run lol and Spirited second half of the journey home she returned 23.58mpg over 306miles :)

Here we have a Update peeps,

You may have remembered sometime ago id noticed a very small squeak from the Waterpump on the 55 after id had removed the drive belts. I finally ordered the new pump which at the time i didnt know but they are surcharged.

Now i was going to do the work myself, But i haven't been feeling that great these days and work/home life has been busy so i asked Mercedes Benz Waterhouse in Chelmsford to supply and fit the new unit.

Everytime i use these guys they have been Great, Andrew Gerrie "Service Manager" kindly Drove the car there from Colchester as id dropped it off to him Yesterday at his home.

He kindly took the Pictures for me and sent them over so i could update this thread and you guys as its nice to keep a catalogue of events in my Ownership. The Old pump tbh didn't really need replacing at this point but would have done in the future they did think i was alittle mad but those who know me understand 'im fussy with my cars they have tobe A1! It also was nice to have compliments from the Tech who worked on it saying how clean it was.

Any way here's the Pics

Nice, the more you do the more ideas I get. :)

I use those little round rubber blocks with the rectangle on them that fit into the jack point.

You may want to edit out Kevin's number. ;)

Well another trip to GSOH done and dusted, another 200miles covered, Boy in and out the same day , We left at 4.30am got there at 6.30am trip display showing 25.6 mpg. Traffic was free flowing at that hour.

The trip home was a different story, sat about a Hour in the City Traffic and had the display showing 7.1mpg lol.

The car covers the distance so devastatingly easy and i till feel pretty fresh even after being up all this time from a early start.
The boy also managed to Keep his AMG Gtr with him at all times, we did have a coffee break on the way home at Starbucks Colchester as you do.

Thankyou to everyone for the kind wishes lets hope test results will helps us get him sorted.

Anyway thought id share a pic of Myself and Mrs merc85 when we were waiting outside Gosh for news.

Well the car has been driving and running well, But i had to use the brake quite hard the other day as you do :D

So ended up with a small Vibration at 56mph, this had been bugging me for a while but since id had this shimmy in the steering before i pretty much knew where it was coming from... The brake had not been replaced that long agon on the front and im not sure of the brand of disc used, anyway i ended up changing the discs with one of our own Suppplier brands..
