Michael_Schumacher crashes!

That way there'll be no false starts

The UK must be a real rat race nowdays.

Why, do you think a joke, even one in questionable taste, will affect his recovery? What happened to laughter is the best medicine?

I'll start.

Hill finally wins in battle with Schumacher.

Boom, boom.

How it really is....

Schumacher fought several memorable on-track battles with Damon Hill during the mid-1990s and the Briton said his thoughts were with his former rival and his family.
“We are all praying for Michael’s speedy and full recovery and our thoughts are with Corinna and the children,” said Hill, who won the world title in 1996.

A true sportsman and gentleman.

Is that where he was skiing? I didn't think Damon Hill got much snow….
It was Demon Hill that Michael shouldn't be racing on,by the way he is getting better...

Ah ok. So we grade empathy dependant on status, past lives, personal perception. I think personal perception is the winner and you demonstrate this. You make no mention of those who liked Ronnie Biggs despite his chosen lifestyle. My point is. When we have Public outpouring we will always have polarised views. Some would demonise MS for his "ruthless win at any cost" style. Others will embrace and espouse that very style as a virtue. A mans a man for all that. I wish him well as a man. Just a question, but do you feel empathy for Joseph Mendele too? By your logic when Ian Huntley was thrown boiling water we should have the same empathy because both are hurting.

Status and past life are very important, a good man/woman is worth more than a scumbag in my opinion.

That's good. As long as we all subscribe to your opinion.

My point being that everybody will have an opinion. Some will see good and bad. Some only their experience or knowledge. Some will just generalise on forums without knowledge or personal experience.

I am glad for for you that you and yours are without exception beyond any fault. Sadly in my family tree I find saints and sinners.

As pointed out on here by so many Jimmy Savile was/is a great guy. So we can now apply your judgement to those members who thought him so great. May be even use your rifles to judge you. You seem to ask that we do so.

Happy new year.

On the basis that the difference between bad taste and comedy is time:-
