is it just me or the new e class already looks a bit dated??? maybe just me.. lol.. dunno

the new E class has far too many lines .. it's a very busy design, very unlike Mercedes designs of the past.

I think it's trying far too hard .. and it won't look right over the 5 to 10 year time frame.

It's all a bit "Transformers"

mmm, almost a bit Batmobile-like. There are actually very few new cars I really like the looks of, I don't find any of the current 'trends' with agressive grills, massive wheel arches etc very appealing.

Was there today. Definately a lot less cars on display there due to the economic conditions. Saw the the New E class sedan in flesh. Really did NOT like it. Maybe the AMG version will look alot better.

The coupe wow!!!......... that is a nice car. Pity they wont be making an AMG version of this though.
The styling is different but it flows a lot better than the sedan.

The car that really stood out for me was the Jaguar XFR very very nice. Maybe a car I would consider as my next drive to replace the W211 E55.

I agree, the cabin felt very nice, clean and well laid out but the exterior... A bit too 'Avensis' for my liking.

Yup, identical to the M-class. Very US-inspired. Slightly odd to change gears on the far side of the steering wheel. A month after getting the ML I still find myself trying to move the auto box to park by grappling with the cupbolders
