Moto Expo on Starts at Canary Wharf today

Some photos of the new E-Class, the weather hasn't been great here so they are a bit dark.

is it just me or the new e class already looks a bit dated??? maybe just me.. lol.. dunno

the new E class has far too many lines .. it's a very busy design, very unlike Mercedes designs of the past.

I think it's trying far too hard .. and it won't look right over the 5 to 10 year time frame.

It's all a bit "Transformers"

mmm, almost a bit Batmobile-like. There are actually very few new cars I really like the looks of, I don't find any of the current 'trends' with agressive grills, massive wheel arches etc very appealing.

Where are the curves ? The interior looks like block work....I'll stick with my CLS..

Looks very smart inside judging by the pictures, certainly better than the weird interior of the bmw 5-series

Was there today. Definately a lot less cars on display there due to the economic conditions. Saw the the New E class sedan in flesh. Really did NOT like it. Maybe the AMG version will look alot better.

The coupe wow!!!......... that is a nice car. Pity they wont be making an AMG version of this though.
The styling is different but it flows a lot better than the sedan.

The car that really stood out for me was the Jaguar XFR very very nice. Maybe a car I would consider as my next drive to replace the W211 E55.

I agree, the cabin felt very nice, clean and well laid out but the exterior... A bit too 'Avensis' for my liking.

Love the gear selector.

Yup, identical to the M-class. Very US-inspired. Slightly odd to change gears on the far side of the steering wheel. A month after getting the ML I still find myself trying to move the auto box to park by grappling with the cupbolders :)

I'm going to the Expo tomorrow, so anyone from the Club who happens to be going there tomorrow too, let's say hello!! :)

defo.. the cls interior looks very appealing....

though i dont like the current or new centre consols.. even BMW look crap..

Excellent day out at MotorExpo yesterday. The staff on the MB stand were very helpful and friendly.

Liking the Coupe!

Shame the interior looks like a transformer though :p

And the Lexus GS looks bloated in comparison....
