It's because he is close you shouldn't let this go, you would be saving him from far greater pain. Just imagine how he would feel if he caused physical injury to someone, or God forbid, death!!

I think he learnt his lesson.

I literally swerved when he hit me.

He was in both shock and absolute despair that he ruined both our cars..

Perhaps this stands as a lesson well and truly learned - fortunately with nobody hurt.

I think this thread should be in the Driving/Incidents/Roadrage section, so I'll move it there.

No excuse for drink driving under any circumstances.
I'm sure one of our resident policemen will be along shortly to add to this thread:rolleyes:

There is a dent in the front wing of the car and a scrape along the passanger door.

It is night atm, so i will get a better look in the morning.

He thought i was trying to race him. What an absolute idiot.....

I am pretty angry, but i am trying to be mature about the whole thing.

He is close to me, as is his family..

Yes he was drunk, but i am going to sit him down tomorrow and have a talk with him..

Different circumstances
There is a dent in his/her leg
and a big scare on his/her face

He was DRUNK, are you still going to sit him down tomorrow and have a talk with him? I dont think so.

Sorry but I feel VERY strongly about DRINK DRIVERS from experiance.

Report him

Alex.

Have to agree with above,

It just shouldn't be allowed, in a few months time you and him will probably be laughing at this down the pub (yes as your mate downs another few pints)

If he had the shock having the police poping round his house and having a word I would like to think it would make him think twice.

At the end of the day your car WILL be fixed, its only a lump of metal however much we all love them.

very disapointed and I don't even know you.

I hope he does more that just ADD to this thread mate, NO NO NO excuse for drink driving, hes a Tw@t and should be learnt a lesson.

Amount of a$$holes I see in pubs that drink/down more than two points and drive out of the car park is quite alarming and worrying!

Surly you must have known he was drunk before you went out driving/racing with him??

So half the blame should lie with you im afraid.

Harsh words i know but surly you knew this person had had to much to drink before you wached him get into his car and drive!!!

I'm sorry if folks don't like it it, but I'm not going to leave a thread open where someone casually throws in their "friend" was drink driving.

Unacceptable on the road and unacceptable here.

You have a bigger problem than your damaged car if your friend drink drives.
