Dashboard facelift complete!

Yep, did it with the bumper still attached to the car, as long as you have a 'squidgy' then it isnt to much grief as long as you take your time.

How you change the interior console (where the new dashboard is applied )?
if possible step by step.

Today finally bought the complete dashboard for my clk, including the support for the aps20 radio.
at first, the mechanic had to remove the center console (the throttle speed), then the glove box (located on the opposite side to the driver) and still had to disassemble part quadrant and bottom of the steering wheel to be able to remove the stand from the old radio.
someone can help me on how to mount the suport ?

Hi there,

To facelift the dash you need to do the following.

Get hold of:

-Facelift Upper switch surround
-Facelift heater controls
-Facelift header control surround

-Facelift stereo 'cage' part no: MA209 689 01 16
-Mercedes OEM Quadlock/SAM loom

-Disconnect battery
-Remove heating controls
-Remove Audio10/COMAND
-Remove upper controls
-Remove the centre armrest/console
-Remove the glovebox and surround

Your pictures always make me cringe :D

You have seen it back together though - good as new! - and the amazing thing is, not a single creak :D
