love the grill getting mine next week ordered! on the boot under the badge the chrome strip do you think you can get it in black?

cheers - yes you can you can either 1. get it dechromed of 2. sprayed by a good bodyshop

i have decided to leave mine to keep a bit of bling lol

Agree, I think you are doing the right thing, our badges should hopefully arrive around the same time, I hope they work because they do look the business!

Lol when it comes to that time for me and the mrs i will be getting that pram black on black lol :bannana:

when the badges arrive im going to take it to the dealership and hope they get the best fitment they can achieve as your right does look great - i will shed a tear if this one does not work!

not sure - looking at the site they are different in size (by 1mm) also no comment whether there full chrome and cant tell by the picture - there will be many different types out there from various buyers with different qualities and prices - so look at which is the best quality for you you at your given budget and that will help you decide - im sure matty will be able to advise more on those particular type of wheel cap

No problem, WELCOME and welcome! I think the doc has taken take of your request for you... ( he is good like that, far better at all the technical link stuff than I am) both the doc and myself have bought a far bit from CKS, can't comment on the other stuff and like I say the doc is switched on with fitment sizes and technical but I/ we are both happy with the quality of the stuff and service from CKS.. Let us know how you get on and post some pics when you get yor car

Hi! Never one to question the Doc's advice (as Matty says, he is way ahead of anyone on mods research!!) but there are a host of wheel centre caps on eBay, with a variety of different finishes and brand markings! perhaps too many though enjoy

rich is right - for any product you will find a variety on ebay and dealers such as cks - if is a genuine amg part/brabus etc always better to go direct to dealer or someone you know is 100% giving you the genuine article esp if you going to fork out that much - but as for many little mods you will find unofficial items but will just come down to quality and that will come down to trial and error (as you have seen on our badge search lol)

never substitute cost for quality though i reckon - just will ruin your car which is a decent product in the first place

Totally agree mate, sorry I should have made clear, eBay gives huge choice but not all are top quality - some wheels caps have carbon finish, others are 100% plastic so take care!

No problem at all, the caps are polished/ mirrored chrome and the wheels are more laser etched polished chrome if that makes sense. I held the black ones up and the ones I have against the wheels at CKS when I went down there as I was undecided. I think the silver ones are a nice contrast and unless you are down on the same level and up close to the wheels they look identical and do match very well.
I am a bit OCD with the finish and detail of things and wouldn't of kept them on if they didn't look 100% hence me changing the grill!!! We don't always get it spot on right the first time!

I've gone for an Obsidian Black car and the overall look would be a bit dark for me. If I'd opted for one of the silver/grey shades or white I would have kept it.
