My2013 c coupe sports plus modifications

I've gone for an Obsidian Black car and the overall look would be a bit dark for me. If I'd opted for one of the silver/grey shades or white I would have kept it.

I'm taking my silver single slate grill off and putting a black one on. I wish I knew before I ordered and we could of swapped... Silver single slat grill £85 as I have had it fitted but their is nothing at all wrong with it, it's as good as new...

lol each to there own - im sure your sports plus it will look just as good with the original grill - just for me when i went and picked it up it was the thing i was straight away disappointed with - just took away the agrressive front that you see on the sl's c63's etc - when i had ordered i was told the slats would be black and got shown pic which i loved but that turns out you only get it that way if you get the amg handling pack - the standard sports plus just has the basic grey grill so i knew as soon as saw it based on what i wanted pre order i needed it changed asap to fit my vision of my car - but another mans rubbish is a another mans treasure you got a sports plus so you already got good taste! and i love a dark look whilst you like a lighter one - all good lol

Tell me about it doc! I dropped it into the conversation over dinner on Sunday that I am thinking of getting the wing mirrors carbon wrapped and going to do the same with the range rover!!! Did you mention a place in Leeds? I have looked back through the posts but can't seem to find it, it was some time ago I seem to recall... Can you remember the details of the company and also show me this tax disc holder sounds sweet! I got the car for the mrs on a pcp in a view to hand it back after the 3 year term (cheapest option) but I am thinking already she will want to keep it as she loves it, and that's coming from a women... Er I mean somebody who has no interest in cars!!! So really my argument is to invest in HER pride and joy to make it "special snd individual for her"... See what I am doing!!!!

hey matey the link is below its a plce in leeds - going to hopefully get that sorted once all the carlsoon stuff arrives - there wrapping the trim for me in the interior and they do really good work from what ive seen. posted the pics of the wrap im getting in some prior posts

yeah will post pics once arrived - like the hlder we both have got but from the outside didnt like the look as much when so much better inside with the amg bit - so found one that is like the normal mercedes tax holder we all got with our cars - but is all jet black (naturally lol) and has amg on the front top part that (where the mercedes bit wuld be on your normal holders) and amg on the back..so not as robust as the ones whe have bought but given the logo and design for me may be a little better - but u may prefer to stick.

As for the mrs - as i do -do what ever makes her happy it helps for an easier life lol. With my mrs we have reached a middle ground conservative with my money on the deal that when i make consultant i can go crazy!

Cheers doc that is much appreciated, I'll get on to them and see what they come up with I definately want the wing mirrors doing Carbon fiber and I am also toying with the idea of the rear boot spoiler been done too, like on the external carbon pack on the 63 but not sure if it will look a bit in your face and stand out too much against the polar white. Just an update if anybody has things ordered with CKS, they have a big delivery which is stuck in uk customs so they are running around a week behind there quoted delivery times.... Gutted, am I ever going to get a black grill on the car???

Booked car in next week to get the carbon wraps done on the spoiler and wing mirrors... The end is in site now if I am happy with all the stuff that comes... Or should I say until the doc finds more nice mods to spend money on!!!

No worries, yes it is booked in for both definately getting mirrors done £75+vat and spoiler is £85+vat but I'll decide when I get there, looked on mb website to see if I could configure a c63 saloon and put my colour in and build it up with the carbon pack but guess what it's STILL awaiting the update!!!! It's been three months now, if that's "shortly" as they say I would hate to think what I "fair while" would be!!! (rant over) I did manage to see a picture of the 63 with it on in white but didnt have the black roof and stood out a bit on its own like it had just been stuck on were as now i think it just blends in.

Nice! I like that alot and would actually match the bonnet badge I have on order! We're did you source that from if you don't mind me asking... Ill wait to see what the quality of the badges I have got on order are like and if all is ok I may order one of these bad boys!
Are they easy and straight forward to fit?

hey mate yes - tried and failed - ordered and it came much bigger the area it was supposed to cover - did this the same time as the idrive - binned it in the end only cost me a tenner - and got me money back so didnt even post it on here - not sure if same supplier you have used but not same pic as yours -is that yours in the pic? if not let me know how you get on from ordering yours but as we seem to find these all tend to come from the same honk kong factory so if one is dodge the rest are - but defo trial another and if works il put my tenner on another try

amg tax holder

here guys as you know matty and i current have the hard richbrook holders that look nice on the inside window but looking on the front just look like a circle with bolts in - ok but not made the doc happy so today another arrived - the first pic is the front(the bit you can see through the window) and the second pic is the back - £3 and the quality and finish is very good - adheres direct to the window - will fit and post pics later tomorrow as of out if interested will pm the link for those wanting - cheap and cheerful
