Mine has arrived too it looks spot on I am really pleased with them. I'm fitting myself as mb York won't do it... Useless as I have previously mentioned. I wouldn't buy a car from mb York ever as the staff knoledge and after sales is shocking... When I said what your dealer had done for you the parts manger simply said take it there then!!!!

no way! *******s lol! i do get hit up for medical advice by some of the staff now and then but all is good for good service - let me know how you get on buddy

Black, single slat front grill finally arrived from CKS today! Looks 'the dugs Baws!' as we say here in stormy Scotland.

haha!cant wait to see the pics mate!completely changes the look of the car and makes it look so much more aggressive - there are some about that have a thick border around the edges either in black or chromed but they dont produce a good fitment once the bonnet is closed - from a distance looked good but close you can see it - so glad the cks ones bypassed that problem!

Doc I'm sure that's the same eBay seller that I got my bonnet badge off :/. Anyways you will love this. I decide to make my own badge from 3 badges lol. Sounds a bit crazy I know but the end result worked . I detached the rear spring plate, sanded it down to get a more flush fit, fixed a new badge and walllllaaaaaa. See below haha

lol no diff seller mate as had got the same prior as you - this is totally different to the last and like prior will use the back of an oem one if doesnt work but think it will as very different to the last and identical to the original one my car came with

Love it! Mine has arrived too today along with the amg door pins (which also look "the dugs baws") and the chrome curved and straight number plate surrounds.. With the wrapping getting done and the bonnet badge getting fitted something tells me I have got a busy weekend ahead of me! But then that's it I am finished!!

Haha far too much time on my hands. Had the windows tinted yesterday and I have the black series rear boot lid spoiler on order via Mercedes. Doc did u get the front Carlsson lip sorted?

yep all ordered - was deciding whether to have it sprayed prior to deliver or after - decided after as got a good deal and te merc bodyshop as they getting used to me hanging around now lol - just waiting for the centre portion to become available now as as you saw with my discussions with nab i was debating if it would be safe - due to all the bloody speed bumps up here - but convinced myself all will be ok lol

did you go illegal tint or road worthy?lol

Dresho how was the quality of the centrecaps you got from CKS? mine arrived yesterday and they seem pretty plasticky and were just bubblewrapped (not in an AMG box)- on the website it says they are manufactured by AMG but it doesnt look like it!

hi matey i didnt go for the amg centre caps - if you see on my pics i went for the black merc carbon fibre ones but im sure kid dav or others on here can advise you on there quality etc

i did order some at the same time as getting the geniune black carbon fibre merc ones and hence in terms of quality opted to keep the black carbon fibre ones and sold the amg cks black ones to a customer on here

the ones advertised on cks i dont think (correct me if im wrong) are genuine amg ones as far as im aware- as from researching the amg catalogue i dont think amg even make any centre caps of that type hence i went for the genuine merc carbon fibre ones as the items would be exposed to harsh conditions

but if kid dav etc read this they can tell you more - form there pics they look good and achieved a good fit - i didnt use them and just moved them on to a new home

These are the geniune ones most/all others will be cheap tat.

hi there ro. think you getting muddled mate - the carbon fibre centre caps i have are not amg - they are mercedes - no amg anywhere to be seen?? just mercedes did enquire why said had made by amg prior but said was erro on the site - my black ones came in merc box all wrapped just like my valve caps did.

if yours havent i would question this and return:

the ones i have i got via cks and had no problems but your mercedes dealer can get them for you also - options are

-black gloss
-full chrome
-carbon fibre

i chose carbon fibre as my alloys are full matte black so putting something shiny in the middle will just make them look like cupcakes lol

if you have silver alloys the chrome ones nab suggested would be better or the gloss black - always read the product prior and look at your car prior to help prevent any errors

You know I don't mean it like that doc! there's plenty of the dodgy stuff that isn't good quality that gets passed off as "genuine" because of the way it looks rather than its quality, all the stuff you've got on yours is either genuine or very good quality which makes all the difference!

I bought some bonnet badges which to be fair looked **** so never fitted them, same with the rear emblem but you seem to find decent stuff so remember to post all the links up!!

ps.. still do love the coupe just get that carlsson lip on... sharpish before the temperatures dip and the gritters come out in force - worst thing for having something freshly painted
