My2013 c coupe sports plus modifications

Sorry doc forgot to quote your post but in reply to your question it was through my lease hire guy direct from merc basically to do the c63 exhaust, I don't even know if they would of done it as soon as they said £3k+ and I knew what CKS were charging I didn't take it any further. 3k can go toward the warranty repairs!! Lol

Matty did you get CKS to fit the quad exhaust/diffuser? I noticed somewhere they say fitting is free of charge when you buy the conversion. Also have you experienced any problems since the quad exhaust was fitted; warning lights, ecu, idling etc etc? Lastly mate is the CKS exhaust genuine AMG or CKS version? Presuming CKS for the price. Cheers

The B Class door pins fit easily and they just cost 1.5 pounds each

hey mate didnt go for those in the end if you look in the further threads i bought the brabus door pins as fell in love with them!

expensive but very very good quality and for me worth it esp with the shine that comes of them - some also have gone for the amg doorpins which again are really nice but expensive - look at it this way the cost is like going out to have lunch at a decent franchise restaurant lol and in comparison are with you for the whole time you have the car not just the the hour it takes to eat :thumb:

Yes your right in what you say kid dav, if you buy the conversion they fit it for you. It took them 7 hours with that and the other things I had done. The diffuser is genuine AMG but the tail pipes ect are all CKS. But all very good quality and all stainess steel. No problems with it since its been done, no lights on dash (its purley aesthetics) nice low burble when ticking over and slight throatyness when you accelerate hard. Only problem the mrs has is from all the people who come up and look at it when it's parked in Car parks asking about the car and saying how nice it looks!!! Which to me isn't a problem more a compliment!!! Plus I tell the mrs she shouldn't go shopping as much and then she wouldn't get pestered!!! Lol

Totally agree for the size of the pins they are very expensive but the genuine AMG ones I went for are the business only a small mod but one of my best!!! Plus I've got the saloon so it was X4 for me but really happy with them and well worth it. I think it's the little details like that that finish the car off! Hated the plastic ones!

yep agree mate ditto the shine of those brabus made it a cruscil purchase and from what looks the amg are immense too! think its a little mod thats worth the investment the plastic ones had to go asap lol

Good one chrisbin, I like it! Come to think about it she does say this guy said this today this man said that... Blah blah blah... It could be the new car that got her pregnant well indirectly if you know what I mean... Lol!!!!!
Regards the exhausts & parking sensors in the diffuser on the estates it may be worth asking nab he has I vast amount of contacts for all sorts of stuff and might be able to source something for you...

Hi guys,

Thinking of changing my vRS in the next few months for either a A250 Engineered by AMG or a C250 Sport Plus saloon. I'm aware that the boot may be smaller on the Merc compared to my Octavia vRS but it looks like it will be large enough for the 2 kids and all their bits that are needed. The A250 may struggle though!

Really love the CKS grille but wondered if anyone had one fitted to a silver c class? Only seen it on black and white cars. Secondly I can't afford a C350 (sadly) but I do prefer the dual exhaust look rather than the rather feeble IMHO single exhaust on the C180/220/250.

I have read about warranty issues on changing to a quad style exhaust but has anyone ever upgraded to a C350 exhaust on a 180/200/220/250. Is it feasible to do?

To be honest I wanted the quad so I took the risk. I don't think it is a option but you are best asking your dealer and if you read through the threads all dealers are very different and some more accommodating than others. I will confirm York mb won't do it!!!! They didn't even know their was such a model as the sports plus! Good luck and let us know what you decide. Have you considered looking at the new b class, they have been totally updated inside and out and do work out considerably cheaper than c class sports plus. Also the sport model comes with single twin exhausts.

I haven't looked at the B class to be honest as I still want to a 'sporty' looking car without losing too much space. I would love the A250 but the boot is the same size as my old Leon FR which was a little tight. I'll have a visit to my local MB garage. Anyone recommend a decent one? I'm in Bromsgrove, South Birmingham

Hi guys. Here are my genuine AMG door pins which arrived this morning. Very good quality brushed stainless steel with engraved AMG logo. Took me 5 mins to replace :)

I have these genuine AMG door pins on my C43, they look nice but they don't sit tight when they are screwed on.
Everytime I drive, they turn and self screwing further down, always need to adjust them.
I screw the pin, logo facing outside, after a drive with my car, logo i spointing somewhere else.
They are machined to thin, so I had to wrap them with electric tape to make them thicker and they still wind them self further down to the abyss.
Price from stealership isn't worth these styling parts.

fitted today :bannana:

Dresho, where did you get those Brabus pins?
Are they genuine parts?
I had them before but sold them which I now regret.
Brabus pins sits perfect when they are adjusted properly in height.
They sit waaaaaaay better than AMG genuine pins which turns around by them self

hi got them directly from the dealer- yep they are geniune parts - cost just over £50 for two - they order via brabus and took like less than a week for them to arrive - do love the way they sit and the shine off them and just look really good quality - if you go on the brabus website and see contacts for uk dealers they give you the number for the merc dealership in milton - they took my order and all was processed smoothly - let us know how you got on
