My2013 c coupe sports plus modifications

think magoo should be able to help but if you search for geordieamanda she has a new c350 and should be able to help if you cant get hold of magoo :thumb:

I'm away from home just now - probably back Tuesday/ Wednesday, so will have a look unless someone else replies to beat me to it.

sat there discussing with bodyshop when to put the new lip on as dr nab made a good point about gritting season - lads there think for the amount paid may as well wait after - i dont know - what do you think?

I dunno - I guess I suppose you're gonna have the same issue every year, so why wait?:dk:

I spoke to Mercedes regarding the quad exhaust conversion and they said it is not possible on the 4 cylinder set up. So this would mean 180 and 250. Obviously we know it can be done because a few have done it via CKS but this is the reason the exhaust is not genuine AMG. Merc are basically saying we can't do it by using genuine merc parts, therefor won't do it. Which I suppose is fair enough.

Merc also said it would affect warranty as we all already knew but it should affect the entire warranty. So if whoever supplies/fits the quad conversion supplies a warranty you should be covered, "should" lol

They told me to keep all original parts as the new exhaust despite how amazing it looks WILL affect the cars value. Suppose this only applies if your gonna hand/sell the car back to merc after ur deal.

I'm still up in the air about having this done, just can't decide.

Hope this helps

ha mate - had the exact discussions only a few weeks back and was left on the sofa scratchinng my head then decide i cant decide and putting it to the back of my head - i think your head tells you you know the trouble that potentially could happen but your heart wants to risk it - i think only time will show you who will win that battle for you lol

for the lip its 50/50 - half my mates say now half say wait past this grit season - im undecided but to distracted with work at the min to deal with it - its my birthday later on in the month and ive pin myself to make the decision then!

just glad merc sorted me witha brand new exhaust rather trying to mend whatever fault there was there and my coupe is back to her glory

car is looking nice mate!

That pits my idea of having a dual exhaust on a C250 to bed then.

At least I've found a forum that understands the visual importance of trying to balance the look of the car though. Especially on the estate version!

Yep, I fully understand but think we just have to put up with it, especially with added complication of the parking sensors being in the "diffuser" trim on the estate, unlike the saloon.

True enough! I'm still in favour of a sliver car but wonder if the CKS grill looks as good as it does on a white or black car.

i think it will mate - the silver with black contrast looks great - told some of these guys i saw a sports plus that was silver - black pan roof and black alloys! it looked that sweet that id cheat on my black on black coupe with it lol - but just for one night!

Has anyone either painted or wrapped the centre section on the front bumper black similar to that of the C63? Also am I right in thinking the coupe has a slightly different bumper to the saloon and estate?

What a car, thanks.

Am I right in thinking that the coupe front bumper is a different shape to the estate/saloon and that painting the centre piece is easier on the coupe?

i likey! - bang a pan roof on that!

i like the centre portion made black on the white models or even red or grey - seen them wrapped - sprayed - i think even dipped

looks even better in combo with a black grill and mirrors

Does the centre strip look as good on a saloon or estate? Got a feeling the bumper is different even though it is still AMG.

chrisbin on here has an amg sports plus estate he can help you:thumb:

Nice one Dresho, I'd be interested to see how his looks.

Does anyone run multi spoke AMG alloys on their C class that match the 18" tyre sizes on the 2012 model car? That would be a mod I'd like as IMHO the AMG sport plus alloys are a little too 'bling'
