My2013 c coupe sports plus modifications

Nice one Dresho, I'd be interested to see how his looks.

Does anyone run multi spoke AMG alloys on their C class that match the 18" tyre sizes on the 2012 model car? That would be a mod I'd like as IMHO the AMG sport plus alloys are a little too 'bling'

if you mean c63 alloys the problem is with the wheel/tyre size - hence some had problems putting larger multispoke alloys on - i originally wanted the c63 wheels but these would never had fit on the sports plus hence i paid extra for the optional black amg alloys.

i know kid dav was considering changing his alloys and doing some research for multi spoke ones so would be good to contact him to see if he has come up with anything

if you mean the alloys on the prior 2012 sport you can have this put on at no extra costs and the dealer will do this if you let them now - a member had this done on his estate but then chnaged back to the sports plus alloys as preferred them

That's interesting I'll ask. Bit disappointed there is only one wheel choice for the sport plus

here is the thread link that wil help you - the member has a sports plus estate - they had change his alloys to that of the sport for free as they thought he would prefer those wheels but actually he wanted the sports plus wheels so changed back but there was no cost involved for having either option

Does the centre strip look as good on a saloon or estate? Got a feeling the bumper is different even though it is still AMG.

Here's a picture of mine. Make that two. Not sure if the bumper is different or not I'm afraid.

Looks lovely Severn. Love those wheels too, shame they aren't an option on the 'lesser' models

Depends how much you want to pay your dealer for them - as I'm sure they would be more than willing to supply them, they will fit I'm 100% certain

Good find. I was hoping to find them in 18" tbh so it looks like I'll revert to plan B. get the sport plus alloys done in Anthracite

My merc dealer told me it was not possible to put the genuine 19" c63 wheels on my coupe. I was gutted because if it was possible I could have done this for £600 as an upgrade rather than spending the 2.5k average on a new set of wheels. As we know 19s will fit but I was under the impression that the actual C63s would not. will be P'd off if they do and going back to my dealer for a free set of wheels :/

Don't see why they wouldn't fit but I can understand why Merc wouldn't want to fit them to an 'inferior' model

i was told the same mate - hence my alloy choice - but from nabs info looks like we were screwed so i will be also speaking to my dealer next week:mad:

I've not looked into the alloys on Nabs link but do they have the exact same technical spec as the genuine C63 alloys? Offsets, widths etc etc? If this is the case then I will be demanding that merc give me the C63 wheels for the £600 price tag that it would have cost me at the time of building my coupe. Without sounding like a spoilt kid :/

Thanks Chrisbin. The reason I wanted to see the front bumper was to see if the shape of it made it easy to spray/wrap the middle section which in turn would look great with your grill.

Hope you all like these

hi there you dealership can do this for you for free if you just take it in - i did this and took them 5 minutes

diy is actually easy - you can use the suction device used to remove lightbulbs to remove them and insert knew ones - there is a thread on here about it
